This is the first novel by Ethel M. Dell. She was one of the most popular writers of her time (early 20th century) I believe Way of The Eagle was published around 1920 (give or take a few years). I was raised on Miss Dell's novels and they were wonderfully written. Though very tame by today's standards they were considered extremely racey for their time. Both the romance and the adventure were very exciting. Ms. Dell's 'Greatheart' was my mother and grandmother's favorite and holds a special place in my heart. Don't miss a chance to read this great novel. It worth noting that she out-sold Rudyard Kipling.Product details
